hello

This is to say hello to all my students and friends in China.

It has now been a year since i left China and relocated back to the country i was born in.

south africa has changed a lot since i left and now i must re-adjust in my "old"-new country.

i found i job but i am still looking for an engineering job. i am finding the south african sun a wee bit tooo hot but again, i enjoy the clear blue skies above my head.

Senior Systems Engineer for on-board Avionics systems on satellite and launcher. The system comprises of embedded controllers, antennae, transponders, Solid State Relays, Timebase, and Power Supplies. Concurrently Systems Engineer for the ground system (9 sub systems). This system tests the on-board equipment and performs automatic countdown for a launch. Duties as the Senior System Engineer consist of liaison with the client and completing the RFP and A-spec (Development Spec) definition. Responsible for the design, development, testing, integration, qualification of all the LRUs. Also responsible for the schedule and resource allocation.

Real-time and Non-real time communication on DIGITAL PDP11/77 mainframe computers for MIL. Applications. Fortran 77 was used with RSX11 M+ operating system.

I have left China after 10 years!

I now live in South Africa but I am still interested in China. I can now only report from a "remote location"!!!!
